The Council on Information Technology provides “unified and strategic I.T. expertise to drive success for students, faculty and staff within Oklahoma higher education.” The Council achieves this direction through providing:

  • A common focus and voice for advocacy while leveraging for expedient collective negotiations
  • A forum for interaction and outreach
  • Expertise and professional development
  • Collaboration through sharing resources, contract sharing and technical solutions

The annual Oklahoma Higher Ed I.T. Summit is sponsored by the Council on Information Technology on May 18 and 19, 2016, at Oklahoma City Community College.  The I.T. Summit brings together information technology professionals from around the state of Oklahoma at one venue to accomplish its strategic direction.
